Curation of sample preparation resources for the vEM community, including a protocol library that encompasses preparation steps through to imaging, with a focus on discussion and dissemination of knowledge around why each step is done, health and safety information, and annotations to indicate options and when they might be useful. ​

Ongoing projects

• Sample prep widget 
  • A tool to capture and share detailed sample preparation protocol information 
  • Will be available later this year! 
• Meta-analysis of protocols 
  • Intra-protocol comparison and analysis to understand variations and why they exist 
• Securing funding 
  • Everything we do right now is volunteer-based. To enable our community and projects we need a source of funding!
