vEM CONECT Working Group

Contact Chairs

The vEM CONECT Working Group is a unified initiative that brings together the efforts of the previously separate Outreach and Community Working Groups. By combining these two areas, vEM CONECT focuses on strengthening engagement, collaboration, and communication within the broader community.

The name vEM CONECT, which stands for Community, Outreach, Networking, and Engagement across Connected Technologies, was proposed by Martin Jones.

Chairs

Alice Liang, Eduardo Rosa-Molinar and Minyu Chan

Remit

This working group is dedicated to connecting and empowering the global community of volume electron microscopy (vEM) across research, industry, and related fields. It actively fosters collaboration, education, and engagement among stakeholders—including scientists, engineers, software developers, funders, and the public—to drive advancements and elevate awareness of vEM.
