2025 Volume Electron Microscopy (GRS) Seminar GRC
This workshop will cover entire array tomography (AT) workflows including sample preparation, serial ultramicrotomy, light and electron microscopy, and image analysis. Practicals include traditional AT methods like rigid support AT and automated tape collecting ultramicrotomy (ATUM), correlative and conjugate light and electron microscopy. Novel technologies will also be discussed.

vEM Town Hall Meeting 19th October 2023
We are excited to announce the 5th annual vEM Town Hall meeting scheduled for October 19th, 2023, from 14:00-17:00 BST/15:00-18:00 CET/10:00am-1:00pm CST. The meeting will be held via Zoom and provides very brief updates from the Working Groups (not to overlap with the regular All Working Group meetings). We have invited lectures highlighting some of the latest developments and applications of vEM. The last part of the meeting will be dedicated to gathering feedback from the vEM Community. We need your input to develop our community further and urge you to participate.

Workshop on Advanced Correlative Light and Electron Microscopy (CLEM) methods: 5-8 December 2022

The workshop includes both theory lectures and practical sessions on In-resin preserved florescence for CLEM, Tokuyasu ultramicrotome sectioning combined with staining techniques on sections, Cryo-CLEM and cryo-FIB milling, as well as opportunities to discuss specific research projects and receive practical advice. Technical challenges and new ideas will be discussed, and the participants are welcome to contribute with their experiences.
